None of which addresses my point. What about the 'threat to cultural cohesiveness' from the net 500k 'legal' migrants? Why do the 45k in boats present so much greater a threat? Is it because they're all 'cannibals'?
Of legal migrants, by far the largest proportion are from India, often talented, cultured people. Then Nigeria, Ukraine and China. Generally they buy into our culture, respect women, don't want to kill gay people, aren't into organised crime or chasing people with machetes in the street.
Contrast with some poor and undeveloped Islamic Middle East countries like Sudan, or Libya or Afghanistan. Of course there is a place for refugees fromThird World in UK, but effective integration is vital, and this won't happen with current, increasing numbers. And there is always a risk of ISIS operators slipping in.
