I’m not certain it was the Yanks now though mate….more a pro-Kiev, anti Russian faction (of course not helped or known about by us in the West ;) ).
Same as the pro-Kiev, anti Russian faction who went over the border and attacked targets in Russia….not led by a Neo-Nazi ‘cos they don’t exist in Ukraine apparently.
Ukrainians attacking targets in Russia seems fair enough

If you say so…..respectfully I think you’re wrong. But we could go round in circles

This is the last thing you posted aimed at me. I looked vack previously and didn't see me avoiding any of your questions. If I have let me know and I'll be happy to answer. Or was your reply just an excuse?

They were Russians taking photos in Russia, no Ukrainian involvement at all. The guy in the photos is a known leader of an anti-Putin movement. There's no proof of anyone being killed either.

Which questions? I've tried to answer everything that I've been asked.

During a conversation about how, in your opinion, Ukraine is not a racist country….I asked you about how come the anti-Semite, nationalist Stepan Bandera is now becoming even more popular…..? It just seems hardly someone that a progressive, non racist country would have as a national hero, with museums in his memory.
Maybe you missed it….don’t get me wrong, as I’ve said many times before, I’m NOT a lover of Putin and what Russia has done is absolutely wrong and obscene…..however I can’t get with the whole “Slava Ukraine” thing and now see the country as a bastion of democracy..which I feel it really isn’t .
We might not agree on things, but I respect your opinions.

If you want to be rude and accuse me of making excuses mate….I can play the game as well.
I’m trying to be respectful

Bandera was a ****, he shouldn't be revered. His appeal to some was his aim of creating a Ukrainian state instead of being part of the USSR, but that doesn't forgive his actions or beliefs. Ukrainians had been oppressed for ages and he was the first one to fight for them.

We live in the UK, Churchill is revered here and his views aren't considered either <laugh>

Tell me the time period you'd choose and why

Comparing to pre-pandemic seems fairer than arbitrarily choosing the year we bounced back most after declining hardest the year previously (and still netting out at a decline).

No prizes for guessing which figure is still trumpeted by the government and clung onto by economically illiterate Brexity plebs.

Comparing pre-pandemic with what, bearing in mind we didn't leave the EU until Jan 2020?

But the fact is he IS revered….he has museums, statues and roads named in his honour. His popularity and esteem is growing in Ukraine…..he was a Nazi collaborator (until he upset them) and a rabid anti-Semite, involved in the murder of both Jews and Poles. Surely this cannot and should not be ignored ?
Funny I did think of Churchill earlier….but we in this country ARE considering his views and wrong doings….we’re looking back and questioning his views. Isn’t that the right thing to do ?

0.3% growth in January after a 0.5% contraction in December. Zero growth in the last 12 months.

**** me you're desperate.
Not at all…..just pointing out that possibly the forecasters that a lot of Neo-Liberal flag shaggers seem to revere when they come out with anti-Brexit doom mongering, might sometimes be wrong

Have you seen how Germany is doing? How much of that is down to Brexit?

How much would you say the UK economy has benefitted from Brexit then?
