I'm sure you're not as stupid as Redwood, Uber. If it was just a question of more beds they could reopen those white elephant hospitals they knocked up during Covid. The problem is having sufficient staff to treat the people that occupy them. Plus there are tens of thousands of people well enough to leave hospital but have nowhere to go because social care is failing as badly as the NHS. Again due to lack of staff.
How can you be sure? At times I can be almost as stupid as Bracknell or whatever the **** he’s called.
Is that the cost of a physical bed, ie the equipment?Google tells me that a hospital bed typically costs between £1,200-£1,600 to the NHS.
Allowing for employers NIC and pension contributions, that’s about 100 beds per Director of Lived Experience.

But don’t you see it as a panic that brought the rats out, who saw the chance of making a profit out of turmoil ?
They used us…they used the pandemic….they profited from the misery of many…..Mone is just one who got caught…..I’m absolutely sure there are many others
Nobody big has fallen in recent times over an investigation, we’ve not seen the full results of an investigation and we never will, Mone will be the sacrificial lamb, although she’ll have made her money so hardly facing hardship.Has anyone mentioned fairytale of New York yet this holiday season

The song features vocals from Kirsty MacColl, an English singer-songwriter who was killed 11 years ago - on December 18, 2000 - in Cozumel, Mexico. The story of Kirsty's death is heartbreaking. She died saving her son from an oncoming speedboat during a scuba diving trip.

Why did Fairytale of New York get Cancelled?
BBC Radio Solent's Alex Dyke tweeted that he wasn't comfortable with the song's lyrics, which include Pogues frontman Shane MacGowan calling MacColl an “old sl*t on junk”, and MacColl calling him in return a “cheap, lousy f*****”.Dec 4, 2019
Track remains an annual controversy-magnet due to its lyrics.
It was Christmas Eve babe
In the drunk tank
An old man said to me, won't see another one
And then he sang a song
The Rare Old Mountain Dew
I turned my face away
And dreamed about you
Got on a lucky one
Came in eighteen to one
I've got a feeling
This year's for me and you
So happy Christmas
I love you baby
I can see a better time
When all our dreams come true
They've got cars big as bars
They've got rivers of gold
But the wind goes right through you
It's no place for the old
When you first took my hand
On a cold Christmas Eve
You promised me
Broadway was waiting for me
You were handsome
You were pretty
Queen of New York City
When the band finished playing
They howled out for more
Sinatra was swinging
All the drunks they were singing
We kissed on a corner
Then danced through the night
The boys of the NYPD choir
Were singing Galway Bay
And the bells were ringing out
For Christmas day
You're a bum
You're a punk
You're an old slut on junk
Lying there almost dead on a drip in that bed
You scumbag, you maggot
You cheap lousy ***got
Happy Christmas your arse
I pray God it's our last
The boys of the NYPD choir
Still singing Galway Bay
And the bells are ringing out
For Christmas day
I could have been someone
Well so could anyone
You took my dreams from me
When I first found you
I kept them with me babe
I put them with my own
Can't make it all alone
I've built my dreams around you
The boys of the NYPD choir
Still singing Galway Bay
And the bells are ringing out
For Christmas day

So are the people in the control centres not striking, so they can triage the calls effectively? Another thing which will not be noted, I assume it’s the whole service, not just the paramedics in vans, who are in dispute?Well just finished a meeting concerning the upcoming strike on Wednesday and proud of my Union in the fact that massive plans are in place that staff will definitely be responding to the most needy during this time, and will absolutely be responding to life saving emergencies as soon as they come in.
Please don’t believe the upcoming lies, that I’m sure will be forthcoming from the right wing press that we are going to let people die while we stand idle on the picket lines……this certainly will not happen.
