It’s in nobody’s interests for her to fail, I just wish I had more (ok any) confidence in her. When close colleagues describe her as thick, it’s a worry. What makes me laugh is these dumb Labour politicians wearing Never Kissed a Tory T-shirts (sixth form level humour anyway) forget that a large part of the constituents they represent are likely to be Tory voters.
Most of them would be lucky to be kissed by Quasimodo...

This twat has the easiest job in the world to “after the event” gets to criticise everything or guess, with no come back, what may happen
Longest serving member of Johnson's cabinet, plenty of justification for not liking her right there.
Plus she has just appointed a religious zealot and climate change denier as secretary for Energy and Industrial strategy. Not a great start if she wants to win over even the slightly sceptical let alone those if us who think she's a braindead cheese head.
Best of luck to her - she'll need it with what she's inheriting. For all our best interests I hope she does well with a very poor hand.
