Expensive energy and cost of living. France subsidies energy (as the UK may move towards) but renationalisation costs the taxpayers hugely and it doesn't encourage efficiency in households,
I'm not aware of the monthly prices across Europe, I am aware of what mine will ****ing cost.
 
Hopefully lizzie Thatcher, from that really poor area called Roundhay, where I can only dream of living takes the job a tad more seriously that that previous clown.

The war in Ukraine will probably last years. It will take years for the UK to become independent on energy. So we will find ourselves with a WW2 mentality. We've been pampered on energy in our lifetimes. Things are changing.

Yes, fossil fuels have been cheap, and the climate change it has brought about will **** future generations not us. We are looking at lights going out over the next couple of winters at least.
