There's no such thing as democracy col. It's a word branded about to suit agendas.

The full court hearing is next month. That's when we should know if the policy is legal, it's not long to wait

You seem to think that a government with a big majority should be allowed to flout the law. This government has got previous, of course.

A survey of 37 Express readers will show an overwhelming majority in favour of removing us from the ECHR tomorrow and you can’t just ignore the will of the people like that.
 
So even if the flights are to ahead and over the year the full quota are sent, it’s still odds of about 60-1 for anyone deciding on making that journey, hardly a deterrent is it?

If I was skeptical I might think this is is tokenism to try and keep a certain voter base on side
 
What a complete farce all this Brexit 'oven ready' deal is. The government's own impact assesment warned of all these potential issues. Feels like we really do have a bunch of complete ****wits in charge of the play park.
 
This is just the start of the process. We need to remove ourselves from the European Court of Human Rights Court and replace it with our own human rights legislation

Glad you're sleeping well at night, Bob, but illegal immigration is a huge issue and it's getting bigger daily. It could even be a major factor in the next GE
 
A good culture war because we’ve had to delay being unnecessarily cruel to random asylum seekers is exactly what this country needs right now. Look over there.
Culture war seems to be a policy nowadays. At least we got that 'sovereignty' thingy back. Every cloud and all that.
