Bloody hell, the media's been saturated with it all this week, Strolls. If you don't believe me, Google - Steve Allen!

I did and I got the Mail Online - not a source I would normally use. I don't watch GBeebies either, so I just wasn't aware that this was an issue.

Perhaps it isn't really?

It was on Sky, in the Independent, Standard, Express, Metro...the list is exhaustive. It may not have made the Morning Star

In Sussex University, exercising their free speech by covering their faces when they called for an academic to be sacked, refusing to give their names, putting up posters at dead of night, making death threats and forcing the academic to get personal security.

That what you stand for, Will?

Just had a little read up, obviously I don’t agree with death threats or violence, from what I’ve learned of Kathleen Stock, I wouldn’t want her to be involved in the education of my children and would either remove my children from her place of work and/or protest against her being in such a position. With some of my work both professionally and voluntary I am very aware of the challenges, oppression, aggression and violence members of the lgbtq+ community face, especially trans people and Ms Stock has written in attempts to undermine their rights.

I suppose the question is whether these other organs reported the original comment and, I suspect, very small number of complaints generated, or were perhaps prompted to report the issue by the spluttering outrage of the 'anti-woke' mob.

Or maybe it's just because it related to somebody on Strictly Come ****ing Dancing.

It’s your typical click bate for comments, they find something no matter if it’s a comment from an individual, a couple of people or a large number, as long as it gets traffic to their platforms it’s worth it, the daily fails been doing it for years. Find something their demographic will get outraged by amplify the issue and they’ll swarm all over it.

Spot on

"Suppose", "suspect" and "maybe"! Ofcom are investigating apparently. Presumably Allen will be hanged, drawn and quartered in front of a cheering, full-masked crowd shouting "witch" before they go off to find the next victim.

I deliberately used those qualifications because I don't know. You said there had been 'a huge number of complaints', so presumably you do know.

How many were there, exactly?

Media are reporting "many" Strictly fans are calling for him to be sacked and are reporting him to Ofcom. I doubt Ofcom give out exact figures but it's clearly substantial.

You need also to acknowledge the cases where men with male genitals claim to be women and are put in a female hospital ward where they go onto sexually assault someone. It's happened. Or the same type of man going into girls changing rooms and carrying out assaults. The self identification route is open to abuse.

Ah, there we have it then. It's not Wokies, it's Strictly fans after all. Not much crossover in that Venn diagram, considering all the black people tend to get voted off first.

Yep, tortured to death for calling someone chubby. That's Woke World right there.

Unfortunately we all have no choice but get on the Woke train or die, such is their vice-like grip on the entire nation. If someone could represent the silent majority of white 50-something, a bit right wing especially after four pints blokes then we might have a chance of salvation and to be able to enjoy Jim Davidson gags without being arrested.

It is possible to be Woke and a Strictly supporter. Wouldn't know about the black vote. I rarely watch the programme

I see you knitting under the scaffold, Watford.

I find it incredible that the Tories voted down an ammendment to make it illegal for water companies to pump raw sewage into our rivers. I hear they are also going against the decision to stop fire and re-hire. A real party for the people these lot. That Raynor woman wasnt far wrong in her description of them.
