Why what do you think they deserve stick for?I give the Tories more than enough stick. But sometimes (like Goldie says) you need to wait and judge after. Remember that story regarding 'influences'' which was dismissed as rubbish only yesterday? Well, I remember at the time people saying it was fixed. people need to wait and then judge.
I certainly was mate. Corruption yet again. I'm not a fan of double standards, regardless of what political party is accused. If this was the labour party or lib dems then I would be calling them out in the same way. That's where myself and Ellers (and you to a degree) totally differ. Wrong is wrong, lies are lies, corruption is corruption, **** is **** and incompetence is incompetence. Some turn a blind eye, some call them out and some defend.
Not tonight bob I have a call to make to a friend who is at a low point. But briefly, they have many cock-ups some on Brexit, during the pandemic and a few other things. I actually describe my favourite MP as a 'f22ker idiot". I have had disagreements over the years with party people. Why what do you think they deserve stick for?

I suppose that works if every country makes the same mistakes. Some have dealt with this far better with better leadership. I know a few countries have a 10pm cufew for hospitality but there is no science involved in that restriction. What we do know is that these local restrictions are just not working. There are many factors involved for this, all roads really lead back to the powers that be. Trust in government, especially people like Hancock is little to nothing. The trust has to be localised and not privatised. Our whole reopening of the economy was based on a test and trace system. Until that is working properley then we wont be able to try control the virus. That is and was the governments strategy. The billions paid to these private companies who subcontract to subcontractors is just wasted money that should be sent to local councils to set their own systems up. This is a royal **** up, costing billions. They need to learn and learn fast. These restrictions are failing.I certainly don't tolerate corruption. Sleaze was on of the factors that brought down Majors government and right to. But it has to be proved to a reasonable standard. If Johnson's government is corrupt, it will fall.
Incompetence, sure, but at times of a worldwide pandemic which is aberrational, you can measure it using other countries' governments as a yardstick. If they all make the same mistake based in advice of the main body of scientists, it probably isn't incompetent
Ha, I remember that complete fabrication of a story. What strange behaviour that was.
On a different note, there is a funny meme doing the rounds with Donald bouncing around a classroom on one of those space hoppers and getting upset when they tell him to stop.![]()
mmm I have had and seen similar experiences. According to the bods on Sky it's pointless checking in with that sign thing as on one particular day only one person was notified with 1.4m checkings? The sad thing is that pubs must have the sign up (it's illegal not to?) they need to sort it out as it does work if used properly. My wife's friend has been instructed to isolate via the app. No information provided as to why, where or when. She has a job, childcare etc to sort out. She contacted the test and trace team and was told she was in her local Sainsburys where she was near someone who had tested positive. She cant believe it, she's not been in sainsburys (over 4 miles away) for years. Quite pathetic really. Obviously she wont be isolating based on false information.
MBE for Marcus Rashford for services to shaming the government into feeding vulnerable kids.
£1500 fine and a criminal record for the soap dodging tw2t who defaced the Churchill statue. Should have given the prick 6 months as well.

. I'd be in favour of placing greater responsibility on local leaders in the North, where the virus is spreading fast in the UK. People may listen to them rather than Hancock. Either way, individuals, and the way they behave, are relevant in the spread of the virus.
