If he’s in the room asking questions and then has the ear of the Prime Minister arguably more than anyone else then he’s interfering. He’s not a scientist. He’s not even a behavioural scientist.
I just gave you two responses from 2 top journalists from 2 very different papers. It's a non-starter, in fact, it is such a non-starter that no one other than you and the Guardian are talking about it. Jumped in too quickly again mate.

And someone else gave you the response from a former CMO and it’s far from just The Guardian talking about it. You’d defend this government if it announced plans for a genocide, which Cummings more or less did a few weeks ago.

The story is a non-starter for someone who slavishly follows the government line on everything.

I saw a previous CMO, from the Blair years, on Newsnight and he said that there should never be political advisers at these meetings and that there never would have been in his time. It should be down down to the CMO to report back to the government and it's plain that Whitty was uncomfortable with Cummings's presence and influence. Do you believe that the initial herd immunity approach was not influenced by Cummings?

No, the story is a non-starter Stroller.
Funnily the 2 reporters that responded say different. In fact, what am I saying... of course there is always a government advisor at these meetings to brief the PM? As for Blair and advisers I would just say 'Gulf War'.. enough said.
This is why 72% that were polled don't trust the media.

Once again Watford it's just today's (or yesterdays) bitch at the government.
Like all the others that come out Monday, debunked by Tuesday. This story is not just utter rubbish... it is utter b2222222's. Speak tomorrow when you produce another one.

Once again I've fallen for trying to deal with your bizarre twisted logic. I must stop, for my sanity, by I'll try again to ask the question that you studiously ignored. Do you believe that Cummings and the government had no say in the original herd immunity approach, which many would claim caused fatal delays?

Khan isn’t blameless. It was a ridiculous thing to say.

Agree with this. Notice the negative Tory stuff is being dismissed on here without reasonable scrutiny. I’m shocked, it’s this sort of fingers in the ears I can’t hear you response that allows these corrupt ****s to get away with it. One question, why is Cummings on what surely should be an independent committee? It makes zero sense

Just taking notes. It was the work experience kid’s day off.

Today's propaganda broadcast has had nothing to do with Coronavirus so far. It's a party political broadcast on behalf of the Home Secretary.

As far as I know... and I don't know what goes on behind closed doors (neither do you) Cummings is the PM's adviser that's it. Boris said he took advice from the scientists. I believe that to be true... otherwise not only has Boris lied but all those scientific advisers? It's all a load of conspiracy theories rubbish. Sadly people just want to blame the government because of Brexit and the election.

Wrong - people want to blame the government because more people are dying than should be

Exactly and just because Ellers believes things to be true, that doesn’t make it true, the evidence suggests otherwise and why is Cummings on what should be an independent committee?

Sadly like others SM you jump in before all the facts are there.
Hopefully our courts would never run like the way some act on here. Condemn someone because you don’t like him. Massive hang up over Brexit and election and many can’t distinguish between a Pandemic and political point scoring. I will wait for all the evidence to come in before I condemn anyone.

You mean being able to see an unelectable candidate or call Brexit, 2 elections and Trump?
I get a lot of stick from the experts on here but sadly the experts always seem to get things wrong?

All the facts? It is undeniable by almost everyone except you that the lockdown should have happened earlier, and thus more lives would have been saved. You can't see the wood for the trees because your head is so far up Boris' arse that you're almost doing a John Hurt and bursting out of his chest.

Or the fact that my wife is having to treat patients with COVID with ****ty PPE that you could spit through, and is terrified about going to work in case she catches it and passes it on to either myself or my son?

By the way, I couldn't give two ****s about Brexit now - it's done with and there's **** all we can do but ride it out
