Eelers, will you be voting for the Brexit party in the election mate? Since you think the Boris deal is no good, I presume you wouldnt support a deal that would make your country worse off. Maybe I'm wrong and you would.:emoticon-0127-lipss

An election campaign based on smearing the opposition leader is quite a sad and pathetic campaign really. You would have thought Boris may have learned something from when May attempted the same tactic

Is there anyone, anywhere who can link a direct quote from Corbyn being derogatory to jews or infact saying he has a problem with them..I will stand corrected if there is but I cant find a single one anywhere. Strange that.

This makes no sense, Bob. As a leader of a mainstream party, Corbyn has huge responsibilities. If he fails in carrying out those duties, he is as guilty by omission as he would be commission.

The fact that the main opposition party in this country is being investigated by the EHRC regarding anti-semitism is a damning indictment of Corbyn's lack of leadership, if he truly was to match his weasel words he'd have done something about it in the three years he's been leader. Instead, he's allowed such behaviour to grow virtually unfettered with just the odd statement when put on the spot. Perhaps you should read some of the threats Jewish MPs have received to appreciate why this story won't go away...

Spot on.
And with what that commentator said last night responding to a question that Corbyn set up an internal enquiry....
"He did that only under pressure. He has been clever, very careful. He has never out right condemned anti-semitism, he only ever condemns ant-semitism in all other forms of racism, he hasn't confronted the fact that the party has a problem". She went on to say that "there are external investigations by the human rights council into Labour, not internal investigations because Jeremy Corbyn want it, in fact, quite the opposite, there have been reports that his personal office has taken on complaints procedures of key allies and made sure they are given, lighter penalties or no penalties at all. So he has had a roll in that".

I wonder what the deniers will say to that?

Of course it makes sense Goldy. I asked if anyone can post any direct links from Corbyn quoting his disliking of Jews! What doesnt make sense there? It's not much to ask is it? Surely there must be loads of quotes hence people constantly saying he has a problem with Jews!

He's not that stupid that he's going to be openly antisemitic. He just sits on his hands when others in his party do indulge in hate speech, threats of violence and death etc.

There's a saying - evil triumphs when good men do nothing.

In this case, evil triumphs when a political leader does nothing

Ffs please reread your opening line. Maybe he hasn't been antisemitic because he isnt antisemitic! Has that ever crossed your mind?? Sweet jesus, I would have expected that from Eelers, not you Goldy!
Obviously there have been posts and comments by labour members and some mps regarding the jews. Some could be described as antisemitic, others as anti israel, but big difference. Maybe you are right, and JC hasn't done enough to eradicate it but that doesnt mean hes antisemitic. If we go by your logic then Boris is %100 a racist.

Corbyn is as innocent as Pontius Pilate, Bob. He didn't do anything either

Or if you are convinced as Eelers is that JC is antisemitic then I'm sure you will be able to provide a little evidence to back up your opinion. Surely it wont be that difficult

What would you describe as a worse Goldy, a leader who has never once (that I can find) made antisemitic comments or a leader who has said muslim women look like letter boxes and black people piccanninnies with watermelon smiles?

That makes no sense at all Goldy. You are letting g yourself down at the minute. You are talking of people being guilty by lack of intervention?!?!? Bizarre

YES! He's the leader of the party! If Labour members were going around beating up journalists that opposed him and he did nothing to try to stop it, would he be innocent?

He is responsible for seeing there is discipline in the party, and imposing sanctions on members that breach the law. He's done little to nothing. That's why there is now an investigation into the Labour Party which he leads.

Are you talking about Johnson there? Conspiring to have a reporter beaten up?

Does that make him antisemitic?

More whataboutery.

Johnson must answer for what he says.

Corbyn must answer for the state of rabid antisemitism in his party.
