I sense a lot of anger and hatred within you young padawan.

No anger, no hatred, just contempt.
He calls me a blue sheep, he hates brexiteers, he’s a typical left wing champagne socialist and wether he is right or wrong if you don’t agree with him, he classes you as a moron.
In fact I would even go as far to say he’s our own little Owen Jones.

Agreed, but in all this is the sad fact people that have got on with each other on this forum and the old beeb are now falling out and slagging each other off, me included just because of the way we voted, hopefully we can keep our current dislike for each other to remain on this page and this page only, and when it’s all over maybe we can all get along again and play nice together, after all we are all here for one reason only and that’s because we support our beloved QPR.
I always meet up with posters on here and never talk politics. Everyone has a valid point and politics has always been divisive. I can post on the politics thread and get into a heated debate then talk QPR on another thread with the same person and not worry about the other thread. If posters take things seriously maybe they should not post on forums.

Only 7 or 8 Labour MPs, the hard line Brexiters like Hoey, Skinner and Mann, voted for Brady. May had 200 of her own MPs, she would need 116 more MPs prepared to compromise. I suspect this is her actual plan, faff around a bit more, come back in a couple of weeks and say the EU won’t give us anything more, it’s my deal or nothing, get Barnier, Merkel and Junckers to say the same thing, give the House an ultimatum, my deal or no deal, possibly hinting at hardships related to no deal.

Very dodgy approach when they are all still playing party and intra party politics, while party loyalty is rapidly disintegrating. No one is taking accountability anywhere. Be interesting to see the turnout at the next election, I’d wager on an historic low unless we have some interesting new entrants, such is the collapse in respect for our political classes.

I heard it was 14 Labour MP's and they weren't all Eurosceptics.

Agreed, I think the only person on here who’s hand I wouldn’t shake or in fact talk to face to face is DT, as I imagine he is probably as obnoxious and condescending in real life as he is on here although I would like to be proved wrong.

I blocked him before Christmas because he was spouting rubbish. Sadly his life is so fab in France he spends all his time on here.

Agree entirely! As much as it's easy to berate politicians, they hold significant responsibility. We're entitled to our opinions, of course. Whether those would change if the decision was on our shoulders is the question I was posing.

Yes, as I say, there are a number of factors to be considered by government. Manufacturing jobs come high, but so does carrying out a democratic vote and all that entails (independence and independent courts, sovereignty of Parliament, controlling borders, avoiding cynicism and apathy among voters, not giving fuel to the far right etc...)

I think he's great. Forums need characters. It's a pity you feel that way young padawan

ActuallyI have met DT and (imho) you are wrong Turkish, he is completely straightforward and not condesending or obnoxious when I met him. He is not the way you think he would be.

I think a lot of us on here have personas that are not completely what we are like in real life

Latest: Sky poll
27% want mays original deal
34% want backstop removed deal
39% want No deal <yikes>
What did I tell you:1980_boogie_down:

All our wonderful minds have not come up with an alternative. May is pathetic and weak, the government is pathetic and split, the opposition is pathetic and split, this country is there for the taking. Anyone who voted on the basis of immigration deluded. People will be allowed to stay for 3 months, erm they are the rules we have not enforced while we are members. Absolutely hilarious.
Here’s an alternative to the current backstop. Give the Northern Irish what they voted for in the referendum, or as close as we can, by letting them stay in the Customs Union (and single market if they want) and put the invisible magical technological borders between them and the rest of the UK., after all it is really easy and ready to do now.

Oh, can’t do that, the Scots, London and Leamington Spa will want it too.

Depends who they polled
My point earlier is that I listen to the radio phone-ins everyday and I have noticed that more and more callers (from all walks) want to just leave on WTO. Even Junker has just said "Risk of no deal has increased as result of Commons vote".
I think people need to get real.
Cooper and co can't/won't just go for another amendment like last night. That boat has sailed. When TM gets back from her EU meeting in 2 weeks, (with or without a deal). MP's won't dare vote against her while she is in the final stages. It ain't gonna happen.
She would have told Jezza today to support her and she will leave the EU on March 29th. He wants out more than me FFS!

Theresa would've made a great supply teacher.
Get humiliated, ignored, rebelled against.
Pause.
Then carry on like it was part of the lesson plan.
