As far as I know Willsman said something which compared Israel to the Nazis - is that racist ? It happens often that this or that state is given such an unfortunate comparison, but apparently Israel is immune from this. It may have been an idiotic comment, but I cannot see it as racist. The political system has this in common with the Nazis, namely that they see the nation state as an organic/racial/biological concept which nobody else can be a part of.
No, he said the Jews are Trump supporters who have no evidence for anti semitism in the Labour Party. Thereby giving them evidence. The man has a very limited intellect and is one of Corbyn’s advisors and a top voice in Momentum. His preferred method of communication is shouting. He was taped saying this ****.

Imagine when all the EU migrants go home after #Brexit.
No more baguettes or pizza.
People in the UK will be reduced to just eating traditional UK foods.
Like chicken Balti.

If he accused the entire Jewish community of something then he is either being misquoted or he is, indeed, being racist. But I have not seen the quotes on this.

He blundered into it and didn't appear to discriminate. And he's representative of a growing number of Corbyn supporters that are embarrassing and damaging the Labour Party.

Is it normal to tape people in this way ? Also, did he say the Jews, meaning all of them, or just those raising the accusation ?

If I were to say something like the North Korean regime are like the Nazis it would never be taken as a racist comment about all Koreans. The same applies to any other country with either a dictatorial background, or which is persecuting others, so why is this any different with Israel ?

Because Israel is often criticised as an acceptable way of getting at Jews in general, IMO. That doesn’t mean Israel can’t be criticised, but why the need to bring Nazis into it?

I asked a guy at work today why he voted leave in the referendum. His reply 'cos the EU tell us how many Muslims to let in!'
Unbelievable. I had to stifle my laughter but carried on. Any more reasons I enquired? ' yeah they tell us to do stuff'
Bless him

Willy I was going to discuss Trump and the 4.1% GDP and ask you if you were demonstrating for the future visit of a vile head of state but a more burning question got me thinking after reading your post. You paint a picture of doom and gloom for the UK with Brexit, however how do you think the EU will cope without our specialist products?
What specialist products? We don’t make anything any more.

Or you can turn that on it's head and say Israel cannot be criticized because it will be interpreted as anti semitism. I brought the Nazis into it because it has happened that Labourites have compared radical Zionists to them - Ken Livingstone got into deep water for this.

Once again you don't make sense. If there is a no deal we won't get wine from France and cars from Germany. In fact the Japanese cars are really good. We have already made a post-Brexit deal with them:emoticon-0127-lipss opps I shouldn't have said that as it's not common knowledge. Dodgy Aussie wine is on the way and don't forget that dodgy chicken from the US. :1980_boogie_down:
? No one is saying trade with the EU will stop in the event of no deal. They are saying that there will be delays and challenges in a lot of different areas unless concrete investment is made in people and infrastructure. Both here and in the EU. Hopefully temporary, a few months.

Presumably the Japanese car deal involves the British taxpayer compensating Japanese car makers for tariffs being charged on cars exported from here to Europe.

you can listen to it yourself, he said it in a Labour Party meeting, its all over the web. Probably Zionists rather than Jews. His meaning was clear, hence the reaction, from people like John McDonnell who have previously been quiet on this issue. Not sure what is happening now, but no action was planned against him, whereas Margaret Hodge is facing disciplinary action for speaking her mind.

Why the **** do you want to defend these ****ers? You seem like a well meaning, thoughtful person who genuinely wants everybody’s lives to be better and for injustices to be tackled. As a grizzled old cynic I might take the piss sometimes, but I respect your intent. I am a former Labour Party member (as a youth, when I was naive) and I suggest you take a good look at these people. Being a **** is not the sole preserve of the right wing, plenty on the hard left too. Their objective is not justice, it’s to win power by firstly crushing opposition within the Labour Party (which is why they spend zero time attacking the Tories) and then imposing their view of the world on the rest of us. Thankfully, they are largely incompetent and thick.

Sorry, rant over. I just think it’s not obligatory to express opposition to the Tories by supporting this nasty little shambles.

That Bob is the perfect encapsulation imo

Project Fear is wrong of course the media is wrong it will be what it is

But where is Project the opposite of Fear solutions and plans

One side currently being blamed as fear mongering The other side moaning about fear mongering

Can this be turned around ?
I want at least one theory or solution from a Brexiteer as a pro EU supporter I can give consideration to

Collectively QPR fans contributing to the issue of Brexit have achieved the same as the politicians ... nothing

But it’s fair to say Toyotas have problems with their design styling
