    And as lifecheshirewhite will tell you there should never have been a by election as the voters voted once and that's democracy. They should never have been allowed to change their minds this time and should have stuck with their original decision despite the fact that circumstances have changed with Mr Turnbull resigning...

    Democracy is having a vote every 4 or 5 years,not the day after or before the vote has been enacted,after we've left the EU and lets say 50 years down the line if the public want to rejoin then have another vote <ok>.Of course there wont be any EU to rejoin,as it will have disintegrated 48 years ago.<whistle>

    Well Malcom Turnbull won the seat in Wentworth on 2 July 2016 (just a week after the Brexit vote) and now the voters have changed their mind and voted someone else in the UNDEMOCRATIC ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE SABOTEURS

    Think you will find he was ousted as leader and PM by the Liberal (conservative) party and then walked. The electorate of Wentworth, who I think, have always voted for liberals too umbrage at their man being treated like this and voted for an independent. Not too risky as there will be an election by May 2019

    I'm happy that you agree that if circumstances change then people can change their mind in a democracy.

    So about this English malarkey;

    Romanian not Romainian.

    A spaces is required after a comma.

    You don't seem to understand English very well not good.

    You raised the question of ability to understand English. I was just pointing out the irony. As for the debate are you saying you don't consider someone quitting a change of circumstances.....?
