Got back from Wembley about 10.30 and went to hit Wind Street with my mates. Passing Morgan's Hotel we saw some flags outside and called in for a pint. Within a few minutes Martin Morgan came in and asked us to go outside to for a guard of honour. The players were arriving on their coach! We had no idea. Applauded them all in - some of the guys were well oiled and Rodgers was well away too - and quite right as well. Spoke to Rodgers who thought the fans were 'amazing'. All the players were very gracious but in party mood. I told Dobbie that on another day he'd have got MOM and he said Scott deserved it and you can't argue with a Wembley hat trick. Was videoed hugging Dyer - he's TINY! What a nice guy. But the highlight was seeing all the players chanting "Are you watching Cardiff sc**". I was gobsmacked - but delighted. Got the video footage but think it might be too controversial if it found its way onto YouTube. Partied into the night and got home at 4am. What a day!!! What a hangover!!!
