The German international defender collected the two main awards at the grand celebration when he was named Player of the Year and the Players' Player of the Year. Huth's Republic of Ireland team-mate Walters was the outright winner of the Coaches Player of the Year and Goal of the Season accolades while he also shared the prize for leading goalscorer in the 2010-11 season with his strike partner Kenwyne Jones. The presentations were made during the End of Season Awards Dinner at the King's Hall where the Club also unveiled their new home kit for the 2011-12 season. While Walters shared the award with Jones for leading goalscorer, with both strikers bagging twelve goals in the campaign, it was his solo effort in the FA Cup semi-final triumph over Bolton Wanderers at Wembley Stadium which won the Goal of the Season.
