    agreed it needed a good trim and perhaps the heavy roller .

    Really? It looked good to me.

    I really, really hope we start scoring at home soon. I go to away games as well but I just think home games are for winning and I always leave so disappointed when we don't.

    agreed, the pitch looked shocking. Really does not contribute to a slick passing game when a five yard pass can be put off track by the numerous dents and bobbles in the pitch.

    Well spotted.

    When I first went into the stadium I said to my son "Looks like they've forgotten to mow the pitch"

    The grass was miles too long. Several times it was obvious players were expecting the ball to go out and had to play it because it pulled-up.

    I watched on telly and the grass was visibly too long from the first moment you saw it.

    The pitch was playing very slow last night, it was mentioned during the Liverpool friendly that the grass was to long.
