Noticed fair few of the players, especially Freeman struggling to stay upright. It looked a bit saturated and
slippery in a few places. May have looked worse with the floodlights picking up the plastic grass fibres and
reflecting the light. Noticed a fair few marks on the pitch at the end that I have not seen before. Is there a problem drainage wise? Also, do we know if the under soil heating is ready to use?

A few marks on the pitch could be a drainage problem? How do you make that out??

I am sure I read the under soil heating will not be ready until the new stand is finished as the boiler will be housed in that stand.

A number of players struggled with their footing on both sides. There were a number of areas that appeared saturated. The marks on the pitch could have been down to the surface retaining too much water and cutting up.

Could it be due to the use of sprinklers before and again at half time?
That is done to give the surface some extra "zip" but the downside is perhaps foothold problems.

Compared with the pitches at Pensford, Tytherington and Dicthet the Gate is a pleasure to play on, I can assure you
