Was it me or was the pitch mowed differently at the game yesterday? I know this is a strange (and boring) observation to make but it reminded me of the kit that we used to wear in the late 70s (link below). I wonder whether this is a subtle hint to the home kit that we might wear next year... Or maybe I'd just had a bit too much to drink yesterday!

Sitting in the Chapel stand, I noticed that the left-hand side of the pitch (as I looked at it) looked very much like that late 70s kit.
 
My dad said the same thing, I kind of dismissed the three red stripes, but staring at the strip arrangement, it was 3 red stripes at each end too.
