Pilgrims have had a strange mercurial ride, as they promised much. I cant see anything other than a resounding 3 -0 win. Hirst, Broadie & Luongo, who nearly scored several times yestday!
3-2 entertaining home win, we're guaranteed goals at Portman Road these days. I'm sat in the block right next to the Plymouth mafia for this one - if it kicks off, I'll be the one sprinting to the exit.
Hold on to yer hat Nuggets! Years ago, wen I went to grounds, I thought Pilgrims are one of the nicer types.
I was just looking at our next 4 games, Plymouth h, Brum a, Rotherham a and Swansea h. I think we will get max points from them 4 games. Leeds have 3 games in that period and that includes a game against Leicester. If they lose that, we will be 15 points ahead of them before December. I don't think they will catch us and I can't see anyone else catching us either!!
2-0 Town and we continue to push memories of that awful period in the Third Division further behind us. COYB!!!!
Weve got to keep going in the second half, i know theres an awful lot of effort poured into the first half but some teams have really gone after us after half time and we tend to slow down even when using the subs, so far with one exception weve seen the game out for a result but weve also been glad to hear the final whistle.
Good point FM, too often we look a different team in 2nd half, and one day a strong team will find us out. But for an extraodinary goalmouth scramble, we might have lost 2 pts, even 3!
And Hirst runs his socks off, tails off in 2nd half, so I am more convinced we will get another striker in January to see us over the line. Ladapo nearing fitness but I am not sure he will progress to premiership.
