Congratulations on your opening, much better than the so called competition on Mutley Plain or Union Strasse.

But, even as an infrequent drinker at your establishment, may I suggest that the Landlady institute a:

Happy Hour - time to be decided by herself, where NO moans, groans etc will be allowed, difficult I know, but not impossible eh??

It will at least, allow Sensible a lie down in a darkened room for a couple of hours.

    Whadda ya reckon

Hate happy hours.....bah humbug. Good job I'm busy most afternoons and don't have my computer on. I'd have to slink off to my cellar otherwise. How can you be connected to Argyle and have "happy hours"? It's a contradiction in terms. Janners love a good moan so my guess is you won't have anyone in. I may have told this before and can't remember but it is worth saying again. I used to chat to a bloke on the football special after each home game some years back. He was an Argyle stalwart and always there. He always found something to have a moan about. One game we won 5 - 0 and I was slightly cock-a-hoop to say the least. I said great game today and the team played fantastically. He said load of bloody rubbish, they could have had at least 6 if not 7 and I'm not going again if they play like that. He did of course but proves the good old janner adage of never let a good moaning opportunity go by. I still see him sometimes around the ground.

I only lay down in darkened rooms to avoid the electricity bill being too high. I like to think it is constructive criticism rather than moaning and am deeply hurt at the suggestion that I moan a lot. How anyone could accuse me of that when really I am a happy go lucky easy going type. Breaks my heart it does. Quick switch the lights out............

Thats me even more cut to the quick now joe. The thought that I would even contemplate sharing the same planet as DS never mind a room is so insulting I'm wounded. I say share the same planet because he is clearly from Crypton being superman. Just realised thats why he doesn't like anything green and abuses Argyle so much. Why didn't we suss it out before.

Typical woman. First it's in the afternoon, then it's in the evening. Can't make up their mind to save their lives. I'll be in my cellar if you need some more crisps when you are all being jolly.....................

Sensible you are a card. Would you like to apply for the "entertainment" position? It would mean I'd have to get another cellerman but I'm sure I'd cope with that ;)

I can't sing, can't dance but my life and football club are a joke if that's any good?

I know oldkickyb it was staring us in the face all along and we just never saw it. There was you trying to annalyse him and offer treatment and ignoring the blindingly obvious. I read a great T shirt this afternoon. Ok the tits weren't bad either but it said "I am really trying hard to understand your point of view but I just can't get my head that far up my Ass". Instantly I thought of DS rather than admiring the content of the T shirt. Quite frightening isn't it to think I have sunk that far.
