While sipping my pint I notice that Carl seems to of had a touch of memory recall over his speeding case...........and it's all down to the Mother-in-Law......always a good stand in for a bashing.
 
Off to Malta in several hrs. so will have a pint for each and every one of you starting at Dubai airport when I arrive. You helped save our Argyle and deserve a pat on the back! Here's looking forward to a packet of bacon crisps in a real bar....<cheers>
 
You've probably already gone but just in case, have a good one hp-bedoboy. Not sure about bacon crisps though but whatever floats your boat. I'm off to Spain for 10 days at the end of this month which I'm suitably looking forward to. Goint to Santander with a coach in tow so will also get out and about. I'm not into beach holiday type places and although Santander has it's fair share it isn't like the Costa's. One day out is to Barcelona so I'm going to see if I can tap up Messi or if necessary kidnap him.
 
Santander sensible.......you going to make sure they are investing your money correctly to get maximum interest.

Did I read hp_bedoboy correctly....stopping off at Dubai...for beer and pig crisps........they don't allow that sort of thing in the Arabian Peninsular these days do they.....must be the flight side of passport control.
 
Thanks sensible that would be a more liberal regime.......they don't cut hands off for being naughty there........image not being able to pick your own nose or wipe your STOP......too much information.
 
If I had no hands then I wouldn't be able to get my wallet out or sign cheques. Every cloud as they say.

It's damned quiet in here today has everyone gone on holiday? If so it's free crisps for a week to anyone left but if you aren't all on holiday then the offer is null and void.
 
That is so untrue Mrs lalala. I would think that there is still loads going on about Argyle to fill several pages at the moment. Manager still in negotiations. Who is going. Who might be coming. How much will Brent pull out of his hat for a manager to spend. Have you seen the "Who is a free agent" list? Who would we like personally to sign up.

There is loads. I could go on and on but being a man of few words it's obviously not my style.
 
nothing to talk about, we are broke ,have an owner who doesnt give a **** ,we share a ground with those bloody egg chasing wasps,possibility of no club in the near future,oh well thats my rant off my chest can i have a beer please :emoticon-0106-cryin

To be honest there is usually more to talk about in the closed season than when the season is in full flow. The season is when all those hopes and things you argued for either come true or the season hits the skids.
