The Professional Footballer's Association have announced their winners and teams of the year. Their selections have caused controversy, as the League One Team of the Year includes Ched Evans (recently sentenced to jail) and also by their surprise decision to award Kyle Walker the Young Footballer of the year ahead of Sergio Aguero. However, the shortlist is compiled in January by Football Union Members and then voted on by the player's respective peers players in their division. Here is the Championship team of the year (which includes three Southampton players), which contains only one Reading player and reflects the League standings around the turn of the year. What do you make of it and who would you select? (I have to admit the defence is quite surprising, however we have three months hindsight). Kelvin Davis (Southampton) Nathaniel Clyne (Crystal Palace) Ian Harte (Reading) James Tomkins (West Ham) Curtis Davies (Birmingham) Adam Lallana (Southampton) Peter Whittingham (Cardiff) Mark Noble (West Ham) Matt Phillips (Blackpool) Rickie Lambert (Southampton) Jay Rodriguez (Burnley)
