Well it would have been if we didnt get Bendtner in on deadline day. We have never really recovered from Hurricane Bent in January and now Hurricane Gyan hits the coasts of Wearside with uknown levels of damage.

However, is there a much greater threat to the Red & White Empire brewing? A threat so great it could see catastrophic damage, experts have named it Hurricane Bruce.

If we look at the next 3 games, Stoke at home, Norwich away and then West Brom at home, this is the expected time scale in which Hurricane Bruce will strike. If we dont win at least 1 of these games then the board must take action and batten down the hatches to combat this storm.

If the scenario arose where we managed to avert Hurricane Bruce, who is the man to take us forward? Will he be given funds to build his own team? Either way its another backwards step for SAFC but at least I would have comfort in knowing that tactics and formation would be correct and the right players will be brought into the club at the right time.

As a person I believe Bruce is a good man with good intensions but he has made mistakes and big ones. Things have conspired against him with sad excuses for human beings namely Bent & Gyan, which I do slightly feel for him as I dont think the board has helped the situation or Bruce when these 2 situations arose. A reliable source from BB Look North mentioned that there was ructions on in the board room after the game with Short, Quinn & Co so the **** is well and truly hitting the fans.

I am going to give Bruce until the West Brom game but if we are still in the rut of not scoring, being able to pass, players looking demotivated etc then the time has come for the chubby geordie to step down or the board to get some nuts and take action to save our season.
