Just what the doctor ordered tonight and it was nice to see Wilbs back on the score sheet. Sounded like a very competent performance all around and now we move on to the weekend where another win will go a long way towards us achieving our goal. Not much else to say really except well done lads so it's onwards and upwards.
A good bounce back after the Saturday debacle. Swindle & Preston keeping up the pressure. Any 2 from 4 will be the automatics at this stage.....
a point of concern was the number of bookings....they had none!..... certainly a good win..3rd goal took the stuffing out of them! really! that is only 88 points..... good enough for 3rd
At this stage of the season, the performance is outweighed by the number of points gathered in each game, so a win at Doncaster, not the best of hunting grounds for City, is a great result. Creeping ever closer to the title. Well done team BCFC!
Would of won us the league back in the 2012/13 season. I think it'll be enough for auto's.. Probably need around 10 more wins for top spot
A clinical performance tonight. Not a great game but a job well done. Donny supporters who I spoke to were impressed with our performance if a little disappointed with their own team. Ref wasn't the best, couldn't understand some of the cautions. Impressed with our supporters, wondered where the Donny supporters were, but I suppose they didn't have much to cheer about. Cracking Donny goal though, I forgot myself and applauded! Thanks to the Donny guys who gave me a lift back to the station.
Haha Lanny you got told But in fairness JGF in order for us to fail with 7 wins the others need to win 9 for MKD 10 for Swindon and PNE I doubt Lanny ain't far away. So let's put a twist on it and say "the glass is half full" as I doubt those bookings would harm instead of being gloomy. Turn that frown upside down Johnny
Really pleased with our bouncebackability after the Colchester shock As long as we keep winning we cant be caught There are still bound to be some more hiccups along the way. We've several more tough looking away games at PNE, Oldham, Chesterfield, Crawley etc Up The City !
Another win for lucky City. Doncaster must be kicking themselves losing to a team who are so out of form, pick up too many bookings, have a donkey in goal, a manager who cant handle defeat or know his best squad, has a set of strikers, where one is too old, another that doesn’t work, one that doesn’t score and another who is just plain awful but luckily he’s off back to Fulham soon. He even put Wagstaff on the pitch!!!. I guess we are so early in the season that surely class will tell before too long and the good teams in the division will catch us and put back down in the mire where we belong. Oh hang on there are only 14 games left!!
