What is it with everyone talking about the past. When we lose it's pointless to say we need Bullard and Ashbee, especially because they're both ****ers who I wouldn't want anywhere near the club anymore. We went up to the Prem with an average side besides the likes of Campbell, Deano, Turner. And we need to find these types of quality players again. I think we have some, Chester and Hobbs are only 22 FFS, so they may be prone to the odd error but they'll be fantastic players. Dudgeon is 20 and he's only played 5 senior games and looking great. Evans is 21, Stewart 20 and Brady 18. These are players that can help us challenge for promotion and they're bound to have some indifferent displays but if we stick with them then they will come good. We need to get off their backs at home and be more patient, they will come good! I would like to see us sign Waghorn from Leicester as he definitely knows how to finish and an experienced, quality midfielder. We are creating chances though which is good but we just aren't finishing them. I'm sure it's a confidence thing and once it comes and we bang in a few goals, I'm sure we'll be absolutely fine. The future is bright and even if these players don't get us promoted we could sell them for huge prices. The future is bright!
Agree to a certain extent. You don't win anything with kids, remember... Really struggling to find positives. Funny how were the best team ever after beating Ipswich. Now were the worst team ever.
When kids develop though they win things, just look at Man Utd with Scholes, Becks, the Nevilles, Giggs etc
I know. Yet, were Hull City. 70% of our fans have only surfaced since 2004. Therefore rising the need for immediate success alot higher. Things take time, I know that. Pissed off that all the Leeds fans berated me when I walked into the office this morning. That's life. I did the same when we drew last season with 10 men. That felt like a victory and we were the underdogs.
