So the animals have attacked Paris again, over 120 brave French nationals have been murdered by some cowards who consider themselves martyrs .... they are wrong and will not be remembered as freedom fighters but instead be remembered as scum who have unified a nation against their cause.

    Sleep well people <peacedove>

shocked both last night and this morniing by the scale of the attack. i used to work by the Stade de France and from the look of it have eaten in the restauants on the rue Jules Rimet that were attacked..This is an attack not just on Paris, not just on France but on everything that the civilised world has become over the last 70 years. We may have to surrender some of the niceties now to defend the basics of our civilisation and culture.

It's hard to feel anything but anger after something like this.

The German team had to be evacuated 2 nights ago over a bomb scare, so some questions have to be asked if it was taken seriously.

The French are now paying the price for Hollande's gesture politics in bombing Syria.

Sooner or later the West needs to wake up to the fact that the region is a 17th century cesspit, that they enjoy killing each other, and our foreign policy should simply be contributing for a high wall to be built along the Syria/ Turkey border, and to let them get on with it.

    It's NOT our problem.

You will never impose civilisation or democracy on these people.

I don't think pulling out all military and diplomatic ties will achieve much. They are using western intervention as a pretext for attacks and I'm convinced they will continue regardless.
The influences of Wahhabism over the Sunni majority and Saudi Arabia are the problem. Unless Islam has a reformation like Christianity did, I can't see things changing.

But you're right it would help if the Americans and before then the British hadn't ****ed about in the region for the previous 200 years.

Nuclear bomb the whole region. Or place a massive dome over it akin to the Simpsons movie.

The reformation unfortunately brought about a lot of hatred within the Christian community as well and isolating a problem does not work unless you go back to pigeon post and destroy global communication systems. We have to deal with extremism at source in the middle east as well as in Europe. It sounds as though the French terrorists may have been home grown in the same way that 7/7 bombers were home grown. The majority of Muslims know and have worked with are like the majority of Christians, Sikhs, Hindus, and Jews I have worked with - peaceful people. We must strengthen the responsible and deny the extreme.

All religion is inherently evil; it corrupts the morality of our species and acts as a justification for people to do inhumane acts

Religion - superstitious mumbo jumbo for people who need a crutch to get through life. Followed by a mixture of the simple and the self righteous, in my experience.

The thing is that like all cults, religion tends to be taken over by undesirables and taken in directions that nobody would accept if given the options at the start.

    Ultimate power corrupts ..... ultimately!

Sooner or later something will happen which will lead to M.A.D, if everybody is wiped out we can try again.
