We will see him next season then. Such a shame, as even though he hasn't been great this season it is exactly these sorts of injuries that stop him from kicking on and put him back to step 1 again!

Next year will be his 6th season with us. Just demonstrates how much he has underachieved with us. It's just not working out with him and if it were up to me id sell him and replace with a top proven quality winger. This is one big problem with Arsenal we always seem to have so much deadwood at this club players who contribute absaloutely nothing but are here for years and years. And that's what always holds us back from being elite no elite club would just wait 6 years with a player like the OX.

That was ridiculous. He could barely walk at the end of the first half and hobbled out for the second. Terrible decision.

It was obvious. I thought that they only left him on in the first half because it happened so close to the break.
When I saw him come back out afterward I couldn't believe it. He clearly wasn't right.

You can only assume that he must have told the medical staff that he was ok to carry on

You need to get some medical staff that aren't blind, then. He couldn't walk properly!

It does seem ridiculous if the decision was left up to him

Even more ridiculous considering we had both Welbeck and Campbell waiting to come on - it's not like we only had an academy player or FB to replace him!

When a first teamer goes out injured for a while and your initial reaction is 'meh', you know it's no great loss.

Ridiculous allowing him to play in the 2nd half if he was injured. I don't like this 'the player said he was okay to play' mentality.
If that's the case then we might as well simply not employ any physios or doctors.

OX has had a nightmare of a season, I would start Welbeck on the right now. Works hard, and can do a job on the wings, in fact remember him having a great run in the United side on the wings when they last won the league. When Santi comes back, we can then shift Ramsey back to the right.

I would too, but Wenger has said that Welbeck still isn't 100% fit and needs to be used cautiously. When he is fit though, that RW position should be his.

Sad to see him injured but is anyone really bothered he's out for potentially the rest of the season? He's been pretty ordinary all season and I can't see him contributing more than Welbeck, Campbell or Walcott. Thankfully we have enough cover on the wings.

I'd let him go to another prem team on a free but I would chuck a buy back clause in there similar to what madrid done with carvijal

Maybe loan him out to Charlton? If Yaya can score a hatrick with them, he can surely come back as the second coming of Messi...
