The optimists amongst us had City at the top for the weekend. On the City OWS there is the current league table - totally meaningless - but it does show us in 24th position. Therefore it's onwards and upwards. Gutted with the result last night but not with the performance. Though for a period we lost the midfield we did not deserve to lose. On another day we would surely put away a number of those goal chances.
No way will we stay there, it's first game, if we were playing today we'd be 13th/14th, tonight we probably will be. In Pearson we trust, UTT!
The table is meaningless until October, i'll be more concerned if we're bottom then (not that i think we will be).
west ham losing their 1st game at home. but i bet they'll still be right up there come the end of the season. time for most of our fans to get a grib and wait a few months before they panic
