schlupp did the business again when we were on the ropes..highlights the fact he could be a man u player by now, we might of loaned out our best chance out of this league at the wrong time.<ok>.. kean sounded dodgy, de lat sounded shagged out..<ok>.

Im still sceptical on Schlupp, but i dont care about my own opinion as long as he keeps scoring winners <ok>

Matty James, Lloyd Dyer, Andy King, Jeff Schlupp and Chris Wood all had very good games last night. Along with 2 or 3 superb saves from Kasper

Credit to Jeff Schlupp, I doubted his ability as a striker but he is proving me wrong, still a little wasteful at times but its still early days

I know these are all subjective, but I'll have a crack for you.

Schmeichel - 8/10 - Another very good game. Made a quality save to a curler that looked all the world as if it was going to nestle into the corner, and another instinct stop to tip one over the bar from the edge of the box. Had little chance with the two goals.

De Laet - 7/10 - Occasionally caught out of position, but made some brave blocks and crucial interceptions. Ran his socks off, and looked like he was suffering towards the end.

Keane - 6/10 - Slightly nervous performance. Was at fault for Bolton's second, when he mistimed his jump to head the ball away from the throw. Morgan marked N'Gog for most of the match, and Keane never really seemed sure who to pick up when Bolton came forward.

Morgan - 7/10 - Conceded the penalty, which I'd have given tbf. Aside from this though a typically solid game. Dominant in the air, and always calm under pressure.

Konchesky - 5/10 - Another disappointing display. Looked suspect at the back, getting caught out of position all too often, and misplaced far too many passes when trying to start attacks.

Knockaert - 5/10 - Incredibly frustrating for me. The only player who looked like he was playing for himself and not the team. Tried too many of his silly tricks and stepovers, wasteful from an early freekick in a good position, and rarely had a good final ball. Disappointing.

James - 8/10 - Excellent. Apart from one poor ball which nearly gifted Bolton a goal, rarely wasted possession and kept things ticking over in the middle of the park. A couple of vital interceptions as well.

King - 6/10 - Much better defensively than going forward yesterday. Incredibly wasteful in possession, and never looked as if he could provide a killer pass to create clear-cut chances. His effort couldn't be faulted though, and defensively he tracked back well and covered for the full backs on more than one occasion.

Dyer - 9/10 - Comfortably our best player last night imo. Looked confident, pacy and unpredictable (he even had a couple of shots/crosses with his right foot! :emoticon-0104-surpr) Won the penalty, took his goal very well and ran himself into the ground. An excellent display.

Wood - 8/10 - Worlds apart from Friday's game against Birmingham, where he looked lethargic and disinterested. Looked more direct, held the ball up better and went looking for the ball rather than hoping/expecting to receive it. Scored the penalty well, and was unlucky with a ripper of a free kick which was kept out by a magnificent Bogdan save.

Schlupp - 8/10 - Super Schlupp's star continues to rise. Another typically dogged display, full of running and energy. His touch lets him down all too often, but his volley for the goal was superb, and I think Schlupp and Wood's attributes compliment each other well. Hands off Man Utd!!!

    SUBS

Nugent - 5/10 - Never really made an impact. Could've set Schlupp up for his second.

Drinkwater - Not on long enough for a rating

Whitbread - Not on long enough for a rating

Schmeichel- 8 some great saves, He personally will be very disappointed with both penalties this week as he got something on both
De Laet- 7 Made some crucial tackles and interceptions and worked his socks off. Always a threat going forward
Morgan- 7 Soft peno to give away but it was a peno. David N'Gog is a tricky customer but Wes dealt with him superbly
Keane- 7 Made some quality tackles and read the game very well at times.
Konchesky- 6 Had an ok game without standing as good or bad
Knockaert- 6 He worked hard and tracked his man but didnt really get involved much
James- 9 Superb, made some great tackles, covers alot of ground and he is getting better on the ball every week
King- 8 His play compliments Matty James very well, looks alot more of a complete midfielder with James next to him
Dyer- 9 Shaky said Dyer had tonsillitis and to turn in a performance like that was superb
Wood- 8 Alot better from Wood, hold up play and strength was superb
Schlupp- 8 worked his socks off and scored a very good goal. He could just prove to be the man or turned around or form

Nugent, Drinkwater and Whitbread wasnt on long enough

... just glad the Nigel decided to bench Nuge and go with more energy, flair and dynamism ... Schlupp is still very raw but he has no fear of failure ... if he misses one he just thinks he's going to score with the next one - may (and note the may) save our season.

Yeah I heard from many that Matty James was immense last night. What a good player he is and is going to be for us.
