    Spot on Ciarra

I couldn't understand why the Chelsea fans were so quiet

I loved seeing our mascot taking the abuse for walking along the side of the pitch kissing his badge!

    And some quality chants:

To Lampard - "what's it like to shag a horse?"

To JT - "he hates you if you're black, he knees you in the back...." *allegedly* obviously.....

Well said Ciarrai, great support today. Shame the team didn't perform as well as us.

Can't see us surviving now as we need to get at least same number of points as Bolton and that looks very unlikely with Man City to play last. At least we had a shot on goal today (well 11 in fact, against Chelsea's 25). Blackburn didn't have a single shot on goal whilst Spurs had 19. That's just bizarre when you consider Blackburn are 3 points below us and fighting for their lives.

Do the team ever turn up when we have a decent away following? Sheffield Wednesday is the only one I can remember and that was against a team in crisis.

On TV all you could hear was Chelsea fans singing about Europe and John Terry. Shows how misleading TV can be.

Big gaps in the QPR end too, especially in the second half. Did you sell out?

    Are you a WUM?

anyhow, the chants about Terry were probably ours, i don't remember hearing any Chelsea ones about him, the Chelsea songs i heard were 'Are you Tottenham in disguise?', the Torres one, I think I could hear the Germany/Barnsley one

and yes we sold out <laugh>

Both sets of fans were okayish but the atmosphere seemed subdued. Early kick off and depressing weather can't have helped.

Sadly the atmosphere at the Bridge sucks for most games bar Arsenal, Spurs, Liverpool and United. FA Cup games are much better as away fans take 6,000 and really make it an occasion.

We were fairly flat after the 2nd goal, which was when most realised it wasn't going to be our day  the last 10 minutes were fun too

It was spirited, your fans didn't deserve that performance. Don't get me wrong Chelsea are a top team and on their day are capable but you were let down IMO. I still expect a backlash for Stoke though, which in reality was a more important game. Fair play for staying till the end

    Definitely contributory factors DL

But I've certainly felt that the atmosphere at many of the larger grounds has been poor - the Emirates is legendary for it, and the atmosphere at both Anfield and Old Trafford was pretty flat for most of our games there

It was embarrassingly bad, it was so bad i don't actually remember any play apart from your goals, i dont even know what our goal was like, i thought it was mackie who had scored until people were chanting ole ole cisse <laugh> i was barely in my seat for the sturridge goal!

my cousin left at half time, but he's in a bit of a depressed mood with QPR, most people around me stayed but my chelsea supporting mate said the upper tier was pretty empty

A lot of fans around me in the Upper Tier left

Always disappoints me when this happens - loyal fans don't (in my view Swords :emoticon-0136-giggl ) leave early regardless of the performance / score. Remember Derby away last season, Liverpool at home this??

Funnily enough it the atmosphere came across as pretty loud on TV. A party atmosphere after Chelski's Barca win.

In the pub you could not hear any Rangers songs bar one about John Terry. Lots of Munich songs. The gaps in the away end were only big on Tv in the second half after Chelsea scored. But the Tv cameras did show QPR fans leaving after the third and fourth goals
