It's senseless to think about what might have been if only...

...that said, here's a chance to list your top 10 worst player sales from Newcastle United.
Who were the legends that we really should never have let go?

Who would have altered the course of Toon history if we'd just kept them in that black & white shirt?

    Here are mine...

    1. Andy Carroll
    2. Paul Gascoigne
    3. Michael Carrick
    4. Alan Shearer
    5. David Ginola
    6. Andy Cole
    7. Les Ferdinand
    8. Peter Beardsley
    9. Gary Speed
    10. Seamus Given

    Your turn...

We've been a bit rash in selling or letting players go and the majority of your list I agree with but I'd have Rob Lee in there as well over Given as Harper was good enough as a direct replacement.

Can we bring back Andreas Andersson? I know he's probably retired by now, but a coaching role perhaps? :emoticon-0103-cool:

Hugo Viana, oddly. Felt he had so much more potential then he showed.
At the time Carroll, but now its a few months down the line and we seem to be fine. I Couldn't care less about the money grabbing git.

I was told he was part of the youth academy at Newcastle before Keegan shut it down?

Yeah, he certainly would have been a big success here - it's a shame because he's only a bit-part player at Spurs.

Andy Cole! If we had kept him im pretty sure we would have been looking at a league title in the 90s.

Worst possible time to sell your star (and absolutely prolific) striker.

    Ah well

Still like him, despite somewhat jumping ship. I'd welcome him back. Would be a good partner for Colo.
