So chaps what match did you attend that you'll remember forever for whatever reason....
I saw my beloved blues beat Liverpool 4-2 in the 3rd round of the FA cup in 78.Great game for us,
great atmosphere and Clive Walker made a name for himself.Still got the match day programme
somewhere......Also went to the infamous Luton v Millwall game in 1985.Remember that for
    other reasons.<laugh><laugh>

Wimbledon at Goodison, last day of the 1994 season. We needed to win to stay up, ended up 0-2 down after about 25 mins. The game finished 3-2 and we survived. We won the FA Cup the following season, our last pot ffs.

One for @Tobes as well - Will never forget this, watch the vid and listen to some of the names, with the likes of Cascarino and Steve Bruce playing for the Gills...

The replay we lost 3-0 but what a night in front of 17,000+ supporters an attendance that will never be surpassed with todays health and safety regulations.

At least we were knocked out by the eventual winners...

    Great memories <ok>

The Oxford game in the League Cup is the game that is said to have saved his skin. He of course then went on to be our most successful manager in our history, lifting the FA Cup, the League title twice and the CWC, we came within a piss up of winning a treble in ‘85, and were probably the best team in Europe at that point, but of course never got the chance to prove it.

It makes a mockery of the hire ‘em, fire ‘em managerial merry go round these days. Even the greatest of them all SAF was on he brink of the old tick tack in similar circumstances to Kendall.

My son was born while you were winning the FA cup in 95..

I always remember as I was out on the lash with the lads near Woking.. Half time the barmaid shouts I was needed at home.. Dash in taxi, took her straight to hospital, I missed the 2nd half, but was chuffed to **** you won

Very interesting you should mention Oxford, so another bit of trivia from that season (1984). I travelled for the evening game up to their place, they were top of the league and eventual champions. Gills scored in the first few minutes and from then on in held on for dear life, as Oxford battered us. Very satisfying and great memories, as the history books will show that our 0-1 win at their place was the only home defeat they suffered in the league all season. Now how's that for a memory, no research required!

Apparently, Mark Robins saved his job after we won 1-0 against Nottingham Forest.

Even though we lost I'll never forget being in the San Siro with 7k other Saints.

Won't ever forget beating them at home either.

    Long at Anfield.

    Promotion from L1 v Walsall.

My first derby when the skate fans ruined a minutes silence for one of our legends and we won 2-0, night game too.

I'm unlikely to forget the 1999 champions league final, obviously, but best match I ever went to was 1984 ECWC quarter final v Barcelona.

2-0 down from away leg, beat them 3-0 at home, Maradona and all.

Old Trafford hasn't had a night or crowd like that since, unbelievable and unforgettable.
