In the summer we allowed Danny Hoesen to go to Ajax. The 21 year old seems to have settled in well, scoring for them in the CL and again recently against PSV. Given that we still own 30% of him should we be thinking about a return to the Cottage ? Out of interest C58 do you know how the 30% ownership works? Do we get a loan fee for the 30% and then 30% when/if they sell him?
My understanding TMHAF, is we get 30% of any sell on fee. I think it was brokered that way because Ajax didn't want to pay our valuation for him (I believe they paid about £400k).
I confess that I thought Rodallega would be a good signing for us since we've often lacked pace up front, but he's just not up to the quality we were hoping for. Having said that, I had high hopes for Petric, too, but neither have looked effective up there.
