    It is true that Norwich originally played in Blue and white.

    Our club nickname (the canaries) actually originates in Holland. It was very popular around the turn of the century to breed Canaries in Holland and that crossed the North Sea to Norfolk too. Our first manager was a very keen Canary breeder and he used to refer to his players as his canaries. The name stuck. The strip was changed to yellow shirts in circa 1907 to reflect this.

    hardly blue its really light blue n white...

    even so... over a century in the nicest kit colours in the land isnt so bad

    Inferiority complex? To which club? Blackburn? Can't think of many that play in blue and white halves.
