    For as long as I've been aware, Hartlepool have been 15th in League One. At any point in the season, any season, when the other North East clubs were bouncing around like billio I'd take comfort in the fact Hartlepool were always there 15th place in League One, safe from danger and no threat to the Championship, snuggled amongst other clubs playing for nothing.

    Now when I look I see they're rock bottom with 8 points, no deductions or anything. Can anyone explain what exactly has changed a lower mid-table club into relegation no-hopers?!

    Doing a Chelsea without the cash, don't they also get through their fair share of managers?

    Went down to the pre-season friendly, and have to say they were inept. Marveaux looked class, Amouthful was classy, and Tavernier looked composed and competent... That really should have been the warning sign right there I suppose...

    5-1 I believe it ended, and barring the lucky goal, the best they got was the little fat striker taking on Santon and beating him... Their pre-match training was hapless at best, and most of them couldn't kick it 10 yards to each other.

    During the actual season, all I remember hearing is that the manager has been sacked (?) and they've been hopeless...

    Somebody recently posted something about that, apparently Solano is doing very well in Peru, but I could have sworn it was you who posted it, haha!
