    He is still a very good player.
    Definitely has something to offer, especially as you are getting him so cheap.
    I would take him at Chelsea for £5-7m to be honest.

    Ballack signed for Chelsea at 30 (or near as damn it if I recall) and was a German midfielder (from Munich too), and he didn't do too bad.

    He was 30 in September and played for Chelsea till he was 33 then signed for Leverkusen and was just 34 when signing for Leverkusen.
