Maybe... Seriously, I thought this type of thread would be easier than doing a match thread for every pre-season game like last season. Not sure I would have the time to do seperate match threads over the summer anyway so doing this thread is easier and better for everyone.
Literally cant wait to see how we line up this season, Im very interested to see what happens to Aqualani, in the back of my mind I believe his future lies in Italy and we will receive a bid for him at some point, if this is the case, I do not want to see him in the pre season teams like last year where he was probably our most impressive player. It just makes it all the more depressing when Charlie Adam comes into the team. It would be nice if we can do a bit of business prior to jetting off so the new boys can acclimatise with the group before the big kick off. I see Suarez is in the olympic squad, no rest for the wicked !
Team Prediction. --------Reina-------- Flanno -Carra-Skrtel-Robinson --Shelvey-Spearing-Adam-- --Pacheco-Eccleston-Cole--
For those who are interested, we are holding a press conference about the tour to America and probably various other things. Due to begin at 12PM and includes Rodgers and two of our first team squad. I suspect a transcript of the press conference will be put up on the Liverpool website after it's finished and I shall try and get that up on here when I can.
Wasn't sure who would be available, thought he may be there as he didn't play but you are probably right.
ESPN are showing our games. http://www.marketwatch.com/story/li...-be-televised-across-espn-networks-2012-07-09
Mexico is North America? I'm sure we've had this argument before and seeing as Bluff lives in America I'm backing the yank.
please log in to view this image It is part of North America but part of it is Central as well. It hinges on both really. Research, google, **** try wiki if you aren't sure.
i'm backing us to lose 2 of our tour games and be under a bit of pressure (from idiots) to win or our season will be over! all in all i think having such a tour when a major tournament is on is silly. there are two years out of 4 when no majors are on and if some one wants to go to the confed cup or copa we can accommodate that and a long distance tour.... going to north america to be performing seals for 100 years of fenway IMO is rather pointless so we could be handed our heads and be embaressed given how few players we might really be taking. for the record i think Doni Flanagan Carra skertl enrique Shelvey Spearing Adam Sterling NEW GUY cole/maxi I predict we'll buy someone to play upfront by the time we go off on tour... will be interesting to see how roma and spurs look then...
One of the reasons I took a step back on going to these games. It wouldn't be the full team and sorry to Spearing and Shelvey but you are not the lot I want to see, Pepe, Gerrard, Suarez, Agger, those are the boys I want to see. Just means save up and head to the mecca MITO, you buying?
