The Official Not606 Match Thread: Chelsea Vs Liverpool.

Hello and welcome to the official Not606 match thread for Sunday's Barclays Premier League encounter between Chelsea and Liverpool.

Season So Far.

After two weeks off for the international break, we return to Premier League action when Liverpool travel down to Stamford Bridge to take on Andre Villas-Boas and his Chelsea side.

Chelsea have had a good start to the season. They sit 4th in the table with 22 points from 11 games. Highlights of the Blues season include a conprehensive 5-1 victory over Bolton and a 4-1 victory over newly-promoted Swansea. They have also been able to grind out the three points with West Brom & Blackburn showing this. They have also had defeats againt Manchester United, Arsenal and Q.P.R.

All in all, Andre Villas-Boas has had a solid start to his management career at Chelsea.

Liverpool have had a solid start to the season. We sit 6th in the table with 19 points from 11 games. Highlights of our season include our first win at Arsenal for 11 years and a derby win against Everton. We have also picked up results against Bolton, Wolves and West Brom. We have had poor results against Tottenham Hotspur and Stoke.

Team/Injury News.

Liverpool are hopeful Luis Suarez will be fit despite limping out of Uruguay's match against Chile with a back problem. Jamie Carragher is in contention to return after a calf injury but Steven Gerrard is again missing.

Chelsea's Didier Drogba has recovered from a minor arm operation while Daniel Sturridge has shaken off a knock. Michael Essien remains on the long-term injury list - he is likely to be out until the New Year.
