Think we'll put out strong teams in these games and rest players for the easier on paper fa cup game at home.

 

I would never wish injuries on players of another team. But I di hope you whole squad comes down with roaring ****s about 5pm tomorrow. Hate to say it but cant see past you in any of the domestic competitions

 

I certainly wouldnt put money on us but football can throw up surprises, the favourite wont always win

In saying that the underdog has to have a lot of fight and determination, do we have that at the moment?

I cant help thinking that we have been on a good run but with all due respect we havent beaten the best teams and against better teams we may get punished more

Teams will always have off days but over 2 legs and with the 2nd leg at home, I would fancy us.

 

I agree the advantage is with you and because of that we need to get the job done at Anfield and attack you which will be a dangerous tactic.

 

There are clues on how to beat Chelsea in the Newcastle game at their place. I expect Liverpool to copy that exactly. If they decide to run at us instead, we will be extremely happy. Expect to see a very strong Chelsea team. Oscar has roared back into form and Luis is looking very very good as well. That gives Jose a heap of options across the middle and at the back that weren't there even 2 weeks ago.

 

Rodgers will not go at us gung ho. He will try to pull us in and hit us with their speed on the break. Jose already knows this and will sit tight, expect fireworks at The Bridge In the second leg. 0-0 at Anfield 4-3 at The Bridge.

 

have to agree with you. Toon & Sunderland were 11 behind the ball against us. Spuds &Soton also did that pretty much - hitting on the counter.
Manchester teams were lucky to make us drop 4pts.

We do struggle against teams setup like Toon & Sunderland. Also - We (Jose particularly) are awful in Northeast.
I wish both of these teams get relegated.

 

That may well be the right tactic but we will not do that at Anfield.

 

I can see Chelsea changes, but probably bench warmers getting a start, not the reserves. I think a few of us wouldn't mind Ake getting another game.

 

I expect Zouma and Schurlle to feature, maybe Ramires, Mikel, Remy as well. Not all of them but a sprinkling amongst the established 11.
