Title is self explanatory really. Let's reminisce and get nostalgic about all those players who, despite not being the best footballers in the world, we loved nonetheless! I'll get the ball rolling with one of my personal favourites, Djimi "Krazy Legs" Traore and his epic own goal against Burnley in the FA Cup. 6 years later and I still can't can't comprehend that this guy has a Champions League winners medal! Brilliant! I don't think he's 'crap' per se, but Kuyt is one who we all admit isn't the best technically, but he leaves it all out on the pitch, and we love him for it.
Kewell, total crap for us, but I feel most people loved him and wanted him to do well as we knew the potential..... just years of waiting, " feels like a new signing". Same goes for Baros for me, on his day we all knew why we signed the lad, but most of the time it was "eh?"
did any of us ever love Nunez? l can hardly remember a game he played. Igor Biscan on the other hand was legendary - quite possibly one of the worst l've ever seen but he seemed to capture a small part of our hearts with his willingness to please. he never made me happier than when he was somewhere other than our penalty box...
