Welcome to The Official CanariesSoccer Match Center for the ballgame featuring: Swans @ Canaries Live from The DeliaDomeâ¢. Canaries take to the field after a two-week vacation for the Soccer-World-Series. Last time out in The EPL saw Canaries travel to 19-time Superbowl holders Red Devils, a matchip in which they impressed despite losing Two versus Nothing at the end of overtime. Franchise fans returned home having secured their scarves. Coach Lambert: "We played really well and our fans were brilliant. It shows how far we've come that we're disappointed not to come away with anything. those lads have given everything against the champions" This matchup will see S. Morison return to the Canaries offense, with midfield wide-linesmen E. Bennett and A. Pilkington also likely to start following their strong showing versus Red Devils. R. Martin has impressed in the centre of the de-fense alongside L. Barnett, both of whom will have their hands full dealing with former Championship Most Valued Player, D. Graham. please log in to view this image Swans joined The EPL this series as an expansion Franchise alongside Canaries, having secured their place via the famously brutal Post-Season-Playoff-Bowl. Last series in The Championship, Swans were defeated Two versus Nothing @ The DeliaDomeâ¢, but went on to defeat Canaries Three Versus Nothing at the Statue-of-Liberty-Soccer-Coliseum. Coach Rogers: "They (Norwich) are hungry to do well, like us, but when we play well we normally pick up points. And the target is simple - to win the next game" So far this series, Swans have picked up 8 Points, deafeting Potterz and Baggies, whilst losing to Blues, Gunners, and Sheikhs. Their ballgames versus both Latics and Black Catz ended up as tiegames. Just like Canaries, Swans are famed for their pass-play and quick counter-offense, so an entertaining game should be in store for the neutral. This sure is going to be a great Soccer matchup, so fill up your Coca-Cola⢠tankards, get your hot-dog's and grab a seat for this smash-and-grab matchup, brought to you exclusively on Not606! Franchise fans returned home having secured their scarves. I'm going for a 2 versus 1 Canaries win, with score attempt converters Morison and Hoolahan on target.
Haha thanks guys! To be honest this is one of my poorer efforts, not had a fantastic week, but glad you enjoyed it! Looking forward to getting some Jacks on here, they're always up for some banter!
I think we should make the Swans line up as far away as possible! Sort of, "I'm all right, Jack, far queue!" I'll get my coat!
I reckon you are in for a game of it , we will beat you 0-2 and no overtime needed Great thread by the way
Yeee-haa! Hi Y'all. Be a rootin' tootin' game for sure! OK, back to reality. Never really confident of the Swans on the road but I'm bouyed by watching you v Baggies and hope you'll play like that again. 0-1 Swans.
We hope we play as we did against Man Utd but with some clinical finishing. If we do you might have some problems
Fancy us to win the 'Soccer' tomorrow. You got out of jail with 2 late goals last year, but a weeks a long time in politics and a year is even longer in sport (apparently 51 weeks longer). C'mon the Jack Army and c'mon Wales! Nice slant on the match thread by the way.... now, we leave the telecast to join over to our sponsors for some infomercials. Ladies and Gentleman can you please stand for a rousing edition of "God Bless I'm Erica" .......
Most newly promoted teams lift their game v Utd and you definitely deserved to win that one imo, but with expectant home fans there's a lot more pressure on your players to get a result - particularly against one of the lesser teams in the Division (and we are). That's why I'm hoping it'll more like your Baggies game.
It's games like these that managers earn their money and try to get all the points out of each other that are not contending for top 10 places. As you say, most (if not all) newly promoted teams raise their game against the big boys but not many come away thinking they could/should have come away from Old Trafford with something. I am really looking forward to this game tomorrow to see how you guys are compared to last season. You passed us off the pitch at CR last year but threw it all away late on but I think it will be a different game this time. I do not think you will be able to play the same way against this new look side. Could be wrong of course and we will just need to wait and see what really happens
If the Jacks quarterback, Ashley Williams, can pick out our wide receivers, Dyer & Sinclair, then the Canaries defence will be on the field a lot and have a long afternoon. Our 25-stone running back Leon Britton should be good for some big plays and pick up plenty of first downs. I've also heard that Canaries have a tight end. Is it painful?
