Canaries are headed into this matchup following a satisfying One versus One tiegame @ New Ann Fields™ versus Red Sox. G. Holt came from the substitution tent to convert an upper body strike after Red Sox took the lead through former Canaries midfield-linesman C. Bellamy. In the final seconds of overtime score-attempt-preventer J. Ruddy tipped an L. Suarez score-attempt out of the endzone, securing the single ballgame-point.

Coach Lambert: "Liverpool are a top, top side, and they were flying at us. We found it really hard to get going against them, but we hung in there, which I think you've got to do when you don't have much of the ball." ​

Franchise fans will be hoping for a strong performance against Rovers, in front of another capacity DeliaDome™ crowd. Canaries will enter as the slight favourites, however there should be no doubt that both the de-fense and off-fense will have to perform at optimum levels to defeat a powerful Rovers lineup.

Rovers last matchup was a victory over Coach Pardew’s high-flying Magpies in the Football-League-Challenge-Matchup-Trophy, and they will be headed to The DeliaDome™ with their eyes firmly set on picking up all three ballgame-points. They currently sit 20th in the Divisional Standings, well inside the dreaded rejection zone, but that is not to say that they will be a pushover.

Rovers and Canaries are sure to show each other lots of respect, which also will extend to the Bleachers with general good natured banter between both sets of Franchise Fans.
