Individual errors may well have cost us yet again...but...Jewell is the manager, he picks his back room team, coaching staff etc.
    You would have thought amongst the topics covered during training would be;
basic defending or maybe row Z when required, what about communication or how about concentrate for 90+ mins, stop conceding from set pieces, and of course we can throw in new howlers like, the keeper can only pick the ball up inside the box.!
Clearly not as we make the same errors week after week after week.
Not Jewells fault.....****ing right it is, he does not buy CBs or RBs and what we do have are clearly not having these continuous errors eradicated in training.
He does get in a loan keeper though who is ****ing useless, nice one.

In his post-match interview he blamed both keepers and Sonko for today’s defeat, I am not sure what he expects from ALB, if he picked the ball up and threw it in his own net you could hardly blame him for the way he has been treated this season..!
I really fail to see why there are some on here who still think this is not Jewell’s fault, he is paid to manage our team, all I see is complete mismanagement

For all of the plus points from last week for 60 mins & today for 70 mins (maybe we would have seen more of these games out if we had a fitter side) we have 1 point to show from it again from winning positions.
I read somewhere that we have lost 21 points from winning positions so far this season and have now taken 8 points from the last possible 48, we must be just about the only side in the country that would stand by a manager with that record.
We have 57 points left to play for and need approx. 28 of them to stay up….I can’t see us getting another 8 TBH.

Jewell please **** off, you are a noose around our necks...

The last time I saw a horror show in defence as bad as that has got to be the Swindon Town side of the mid-nineties who were well and truly relegated conceding a hundred goals.

The fact PJ comes out and blames the players for that just shows how little grip he's got on the situation. For those kind of mistakes late in a game the players are very clearly under a lot of pressure and stress and now they have a completely hapless 'keeper to contend with as well.

I watched the Norwich Chelsea game yesterday, Chelsea battered them but Ruddy in goal was outstanding. I just kept thinking to myself each time Chelsea had an effort on goal - if that had been an Ipswich keeper that one slips in... and somehow we have gone and made it worse by signing a young lad who is completely incapable.

Forget what PJ says for a moment lads, what is his body language like at games?
Is it as bad as Grants was for us, or the Wally with the brolly?

    Genuinely interested to know.

I’ve only gone back to 2008-09, but the vaguely positive news is only one team has gone down having mustered a miserable 28 points from 27 games – Sheffield Wednesday in 2009-10.

Not much consolation. Something spectacular needs to happen in the last knockings of the transfer window (ie, slightly better than failed bids and yet another loan of yet another player who isn’t good enough for Reading) because if we carry on like this we are down.

I think Coventry are gone, but the same definitely can’t be said for Doncaster and Forest. Certainly not Millwall who looked like Brazil compared to our deadbeats at the Den.

The natural state of our supposedly senior centre backs is either limping off injured after 20 minutes (having already marshalled a defence that’s leaked a couple of goals), committing calamitous, brainless errors (remember everyone commenting on defensive errors last season, eg Swansea at home, and blaming the youth and inexperience of the back line) or having their contracts cancelled for finally being recognised even by our clown manager and coaching staff as a waste of space.

I can’t remember a more nightmarish time. And what do you think ME and Clegg will do about apart from the usual simpering support for the status quo.

Maestro - Jewell exudes the air of a man managing an under 8's side who are rock bottom, but they're only kids and it's the taking part that counts....
