PLAYER OF THE YEAR- Colo. Captain Courageous, led by example and done an excellent job.
YOUNG PLAYER OF THE YEAR- Krul, don't really think of him as being young now, he seems to have been around forever.
MOST IMPROVED PLAYER- Perchinio, come on in leaps and bounds lately. Credit to Pards for persevering with him.
BIGGEST WASTE OF SPACE- Ranger. He's got a good game in him and isn't without talent, but some people just never learn.
HOME MATCH OF THE YEAR- Think I got more pleasure from the win over Liverpool than any other game.
AWAY MATCH OF THE YEAR- Think it's got to be Chelsea for me. ( Even though I did end up with about 20 bodies on top of me after Cisse's second goal.)
MOMENT OF THE YEAR- Too many great moments for me, wouldn't like to single one out.
GOAL OF THE YEAR- Cisse's goal was great but Ben Arfa's was a class apart, the way he just jinked through the defence as if the ball was glued to his foot and scored from an acute angle.
CHANT OF THE YEAR- We've got Perchinio, we've got Perchinio. Must have been a confidence boost for the guy.

PLAYER OF THE YEAR- Colloccini (just immense all year)
YOUNG PLAYER OF THE YEAR- Davide Santon (would have been Krul but he's 25 next year!)
MOST IMPROVED PLAYER- Perch (perchino has shown great resolve to come through a patch none of us thought he would)
    BIGGEST WAST OF SPACE- Ranger
HOME MATCH OF THE YEAR- Liverpool -It played out like a script!
AWAY MATCH OF THE YEAR- Stoke - Pulis getting more and more angry was superb. Simpson wasn't helping! Throw in it was a tactical masterclass from Pards too.
MOMENT OF THE YEAR- Bennis goal against Botlon. We needed that one and I still think it'll turn out to be an important one with any justice!
GOAL OF THE YEAR- Benni vs Blackburn, Benni vs Bolton or Cisse vs Chelsea? I'm confused but I'll go for the Cisse because it was just ridiculous.
CHANT OF THE YEAR- I still love "Colocini you can shag my wife"

If Colo took advantage of that offer he'd be too shagged himself to be able to play football.

Aye I don't buy the old Ronaldos assertion that sex before the game made him play better. In my experience it left you feeling devoid of energy, jelly legged and even lacking feeling in your feet. If Colo takes up the offer, I could see him taking to the pitch looking as gaunt as Mr Burns!

For those of you who have said Alan Smith as the biggest waste of space, it really does just show how shallow your support is for your own team. I'm a United fan and I know more about his season than you do. Alan Pardew has openly invited Alan Smith to come back to Newcastle after his contract has expired to see if he can integrate him into the coaching team at Newcastle. He has had very limited chances of football at Newcastle (hence signing on for MK Dons) but Pardew still sees him as an integral part of the much hyped "camaraderie" that the Toon have benefit from for such a long time. Smith himself is considering if he still has any viable playing options as he still loves the sport but is also definitely considering taking Pardew up on his offer of a coaching role.

Hardly a waste of space if he's a natural leader, isn't causing any problems and technically isn't taking up any space whilst on loan. Of course you'll have gripes about his salary but that's not his fault, you can call him greedy but he's not that type of guy, he has had the same car for about 7 years which he bought second hand and also has an old Nokia phone which he has had for years. He isn't a materialistic or greedy person, so please whatever you guys do, don't treat him like you do Owen. Smith is one of the good guys.

I think the interview I read was on Sky Sports website for anybody who cares to dig for it.
