Coneygree - have to start with the reigning champ in the staying chase division. Given normal winter ground he should be able to kick on from that wonderful novice season and prove it was no fluke. Parlour Games - could be a force to be reckoned with over an intermediate trip and should be able to take some decent prizes. Faugheen - Will be no sort of SP but the G1 bonuses should rack up nicely. Beast Of Burden - looks a real beast and providing his fall at Chepstow is behind him he could be a real monster over fences. Wishfull Dreaming - full brother to Wishfull Thinking and already a winner over hurdles this term, could make a very good novice hurdler. Sizing John - fine placed efforts behind Douvan and looks tailor-made for novice chasing. Disko - the apple of Noel Meade's eye, only just beaten by Bellshill in the Punchestown bumper, he should be very close to the top of the Irish novice hurdle ranks. Tycoon Prince - sounds like Gordon Elliot is very excited about this one, should be an exciting novice hurdler after winning 3 bumpers last season. Moon Racer - champion bumper winner at the festival carrying my money so I can't desert him. Must surely be thereabouts in the big novice hurdle races this season. Saphir Du Rheu - utterly dominant at Aintree, has the right connections to go to the very top of the chasing ranks.

That was the problem with giving bonus points for Group wins Oddy. You're giving odds of 6/1 plus for every Mullins G1 winner. Maybe the bonus points are a bit generous?
