All being well those who are not drunk tomorrow evening will be on here celebrating a fantastic performance, some great goals from our boys and a magnificent win. We will be sitting in the top half of the table, Bruce will have bought himself more time and the belief will be returning. If it goes wrong, and TBH a draw would be wrong to me, then the pressure will be back and last week will have been wasted. That said I honestly believe we will win and be happy but, a bit like an accused the day before the verdict we sit tonight with hope but nerves, lets have a happy night. Lets banish all negative thoughts. Lets forget about Bent and his goals. Lets think about Bendtner and his goals. Wickham and his promise. Sess and his magic. Seb and his skills. Colback and his tenacity. Vaughan and his passes. Bown and his outstanding displays. Above all the fans and the fear they can instil in Bent and the confidence they can give those boys in red and white. I have a fiver on Wickham to score the first goal, a tip off Cest. A fiver on us to win 3-1. Sorry to have spoilt it.
A draw would be okay syd not great but not the end of the world either, Villa are still a decent side so taking points off them will be a bit harder than most of us think. We win tomorrow (agree with murrayout here 1-0 would be fine) and that is 2 games won out of 2 and a bit of confidence going into the game next week where, in all honesty not many would be predicting us to win. If we can stay unbeaten for the next 4 or so home games that will see some fans getting back on the carpet and, us moving away from the bottom area and into mid table mediocrity again.
Lets banish all negative thoughts. I'm trying hard to, but our home record is shocking Lets forget about Bent and his goals. He's bound to...... Lets think about Bendtner and his goals. Yes please! Wickham and his promise. Going to be a cracking player for us...............eventually. Sess and his magic. I hope he produces his best tomorrow. Seb and his skills. Think we're going to need a goal from him. Colback and his tenacity. Full of heart and enthusiasm every game he plays. Vaughan and his passes. Has to be the first name on the teamsheet from now on. Brown and his outstanding displays. I was completely wrong about Wes. He's a magnificent defender.
