Rodgers needs to play his strongest side and set them up to batter Bournemouth even if the score only ends 1-0 they need to win and create tons of chances.

It might only be the coca cola cup but its a route into Europe. If Brendan puts out a so called second string thinking about next Sunday and Arsenal it could backfire and he'll only be thinking will he have crisps with his beer while watching Liverpool play Arsenal on sky.

Opinions guise. Does he go for broke on Wednesday or play it safe and rest boys for Sunday ?

Wed to Sunday is long enough for rest on these pampered lads, play our strongest team. If BR knows what that is

Play the strongest boys. Play them again the Sunday. Play them again the game after. And so on. The sooner he stops rearranging the furniture and settles on a team and allows that team to develop an understanding and gain some momentum the sooner he can stop wondering whether it'll be the crispies or the dry roasters with his pint of Harp.

I totally agree with you hash... go for the win, no question at all...

**** arsenal, that game can mind itself.

mind you his strongest team is minus gerrard anyway.

I agree the team needs bedding in but also I want can and markovich to start. And Rodgers doesn't see those as our strongest team. So it's games like Wednesday which give the a chance to get noticed

It's a trophy more importantly. Maybe the least glamorous of the domestic trophies but one none the less. We're also the record holders for it so good to add to the collection <ok>

We should be able to make changes and still win. Hopefully Rodgers will drop Gerrard and Johnson which gives us a chance. Unfortunately I see Balotelli starting.
