This is to post all news, tweets and rumours regarding our next manager. Theres no point having 30 threads for the same piece of news when most of it is unfounded nonsense.

Mods, can you sticky and warn the relevant posters who are likely to ignore the thread and clogg up the board. Of course any news that gets discussed at length can get its own thread.

This one is more like the Transfer rumour thread than a discussion.

    thats the intention.

Just noticed Marcello Lippi on the odds.

What's he doing now? What a brilliant manager that man was.

Mourinho is apparently desperate for the job and is willing to walk out on Chelsea.

Some of the rag pundits are saying that United had a lucky escape from Maureen if recent events are to go by. His defensive parking the bus style would not apparently suit United. Some displays at OT might get the crowd booing him?

<laugh> Find it kind of cute how you're so desperate for mourinho even though he turned you down.

What do you lot think about the Giggs, Scholes thing being long term? All very romantic but is having you're class of 92 lot as the people to take you forward a bit Roy of The Rovers or would you be happy to see how it works out?

I repeat. I'd rather suck **** through a straw rather than have Jose at United.

Thats how he plays with Chelsea smith.

His Madrid side was brilliant in attack. He uses what he has to the best of its ability. Defensive sides are solid, offensive sides are attacking.

I think Ancelotti would be my number 1 choice, but I can't see him wanting to leave Ronaldo and Bale to come here. Doesn't really make sense to me:biggrin:

    Couldn't agree more.

You seen his demeanour currently? Do we really need that **** at United now? Do we ****. Was listening to the old Real president on the radio today, Calderon. He was essentially saying that he's an ignorant **** pig who just causes trouble, good manager though he may well be.

Forget Mourinho, he is the absolute perfect fit for Chelsea and they're welcome to him.
