The new season of Top Gear starts soon. Which driver do you guys reckon will have a crack at Goldfinger's time? I reckon either Raikkonen or Alonso. Would be funny stuff.

I want to see Hamilton go and do it in the dry.

If it had to be someone who hasn't done it yet then Nico Rosberg

As Jenson came back again, I'd say Hamilton should come back in the dry.

Alonso doesn't seem the type who would come on (not saying he is a miserable spanish git or anything.......), Schuey should have done a lap when he came on, Massa would crash, wasn't Webber in the wet? Maybe he should come back too.

Alonso would do it if the reasonably priced car was a Fiat 500.

It is only Vettel and Barrichello who has done it in normal conditions isn't it?

Didn't Button have one where it was really hot and had to have the air con on, and the other was when it was wet?

I have to agree with El_Bando.

Di Resta is the perfect choice and if it isn't him then it'll probably be Hamilton. I'd love to see Alonso on the show but it seems very unlikely.

Yeah, di Resta seems the obvious bet. So for that reason, my fiver is on young Senna. :D

I'd love to see Kobayashi have a crack at it, I think he'd be good fun. Maybe another ex-F1 driver? I'm surprised Hakkinen hasn't had a crack at a lap yet, they've had him involved in the show on more than one occasion.

Hakkinen would be quite entertaining as a guest as well. Good sense of humour.

Alonso probably, but I wish Schumacher did a proper lap.

I'd like to see Alonso on there, but I don't think he'd do it, he doesn't need to be going to England for some random TV show. Maybe Rosberg or Di Resta.

Why F1 drivers? They arent the be all and end all of motorsport. Why not some sportscar legends like Tom Kristensen, Jan Magnusson, if you want a brit have Oliver Gavin. Or promote some lesser known up coming talents like Johnny Cocker.
Id say with their greater immediate experience of closed-cockpit racing they could well put in a better lap than the F1 drivers could

I would love to see Nando on it, would love to see him laugh and drop the serious side you see at the races :) I think he might beat the time too :)

I would love to see Kimi do it (and with all the hubbub of his return it wouldn't surprise me) just to see how he copes with JC's questions.
JC: So be honest, why did you really come back to F1?
    KR: Mumble..mumble..icecream...mumble...thought I'd be partnering Heikki...mumble...wrong Lotus...mumble...Fernandes dead to me..mumble....
