The new Tv deal kicks in next season, if we go up even if we finish bottom were guaranteed at least £53m thatd be for tv deal cash, us shown on sky and our final league position (2oth) as an example.

Not including parachute payments, improved sponser deals, attendances etc

Thats calculated presuming the overseas tv rights deal stays the same, which it'l obviously improve.

The Premier League are reporting huge profits in every market in which they have agreed new TV rights deals. It went up in the UK because BT Sport entered the bidding making ESPN lose out. It went up in America because of a three way tussle between FOX, ESPN and Al Jazeera. The price of the rights to show Premier League games has basically gone up everywhere and at some point, some of that profit translates to the Premier League clubs. But for Sky subscribers, that will probably mean another increase in our cost too.

Also, haven't the parachute payments changed? Aren't they across five seasons now, not three?

I thought they were over four seasons from 2010. We were part of the first group to get parachute payments for longer than 2 years.

The parachute payments increased and went from two seasons to four season, the season we were relegated.

They will change again though. They get reworked out every 3 years based on the TV deals in place at the time (the rights being sold in 3 year contracts). I've no idea yet what the next change is meant to be though, I think it was quite late in the day when we found out we were going to get £48M (£16M, £16M, £8M, £8M) instead of £24M (£12M, £12M).
